University of North Dakota website in OmniUpdate

OmniUpdate Design A11y Javascript Third Party Integrations

The goal

The University of North Dakota website has a consistent look while maintaining flexibility that allows the many varying needs of sub sections to be addressed.

The how

CMS: UND had no centralized management system for the website's content. I helped build the site into the CMS. This involved backend configuration, coding, and planning and implementing information architecture.

Code: I was involved in coding the site with XML, HTML, XSLT, Javascript and CSS.

Design: The UND website has gone through some iterative design since it was centralized and put into the CMS. The original designs were provided by a vendor and I collaborated with the web team to turn them into functioning code. Because of the lack of depth in the design elements provided by the vendor I helped make many decisions along with the web team on how the site templates would look.
