I am a dog walkin', web designin', latte lovin', moon gazin' geeky type person.
I thrive when I am doing work that has a clear value and purpose and allows me to help others grow and develop and realize their full potential. I feel best about the work I do when it is done with other creative and caring individuals in a cooperative environment.
Some personality traits I believe I have and express in my work are adaptability/flexibility, positivity, and creativity paired with solid focus and prioritization of data and analysis towards the big picture/end game. I easily empathize and can understand and communicate with others one-on-one. Being an accessibility minded developer suits these traits well because I can see the tangible effects of my efforts based on end user satisfaction and by solving problems for staff.
This site is built on the Zurb Foundation framework with customizations including CSS3, A11Y, jQuery, and javascript.

Every design should start with goals and constraints.
Outside of scope: Flexibility, being able to be edited by others, using every cool trick, SEO (My POSH semantic well crafted HTML is SEO by default but since I only intend to provide this website to a few special recipients (you!) I've chosen to forgo any SEO outside of well crafted code).
Knowing the scope and needs of any project is important. If this site had multiple pages I would have looked into using something for templating like handlebars. If it needed to be edited by a non-web dev I would have used a CMS backend. If it needed to be edited by other web developers I would have started with a proper git flow process.
